Online store questions

Answers to what store owners usually ask before starting a WooCommerce project.

Still have a question? Ask me directly

How much does a WooCommerce store cost?

It depends on the number of products, the payment and shipping setup, and any custom features. After a short call, you get a written quote with the full cost and what is included, before any work starts.

Should I choose WooCommerce or Shopify?

WooCommerce gives you flexibility and full control of a store on WordPress, with hosting and maintenance handled separately, by you or through a care plan. Shopify is a hosted platform with monthly plan and app fees. The best fit depends on your products, budget, integrations and how much upkeep you want to manage, and I can help you compare.

How long does it take to build an online store?

A small store usually takes a few weeks, depending on how many products there are, how ready the product data is and how many feedback rounds you need. I confirm a realistic timeline in your proposal.

Which payment methods can you set up?

Card payments, PayPal and local gateways such as bKash and SSLCommerz in Bangladesh, plus cash on delivery. You open the merchant accounts in your name, and availability depends on your country and the provider approving your business.

Can I add products and manage orders myself?

Yes. You get a short guide on adding products, updating stock and prices, managing orders and creating coupons from the WooCommerce dashboard.

Can you move my Shopify or Wix store to WooCommerce?

Yes. I first check what your current platform can export. Supported products, categories, customers and order data are then mapped and checked, and redirects are planned for any URLs that change. Traffic and rankings can move for a while after a migration.

Do you upload the products for me?

Yes. Send a spreadsheet, supplier file or product photos, and I add them with clean titles, descriptions, variations, images and product SEO.

What do I need to provide, and what costs are separate?

Usually your logo, product details, photos and access to your payment accounts. Hosting, domain, paid plugins, payment gateway fees and product photography are listed separately in your proposal.

Can my products show up in Google Shopping and AI answers?

Product schema, clear titles and descriptions and, if you choose, a Google Merchant Center product feed help Google Shopping, AI Overviews and AI assistants understand your products. Those platforms decide what they show, so placement cannot be guaranteed.

What happens after the store goes live?

You can run it yourself, or choose the monthly Store Care Plan for plugin updates, backups, security checks and agreed checkout tests.

Ready to build your online store?

Send your current store, or a short note about what you sell. I'll reply with the service that fits and the next steps.
