// In short

Do you need a migration or a rescue?

Choose a migration when you are moving a store from Shopify, Wix, Squarespace or another platform to WooCommerce, or to a new host. Choose a rescue when your WooCommerce store is broken, slow or not taking orders. If the store works but sells too little, Checkout & Conversion fits better. MD Shamim Mahmud migrates products, customers and supported order data with redirects, and repairs broken WooCommerce stores on a backup.

// Who it’s for

When a store needs this

Store moves and store problems both cost sales every day they drag on. These are the usual starting points.

  • Leaving Shopify or Wix

    Monthly fees and app costs keep rising and you want to own your store.

  • The checkout is broken

    Orders fail, payments don’t confirm or customers get errors.

  • Emails aren’t arriving

    Order and password emails go missing or land in spam.

  • The store is very slow

    Pages and the admin are slow, especially with many products.

// What’s included

What every job includes

Migrations and rescues both start with a full backup. Paid migration tools or plugins, if needed, are listed separately.

  • Full backup first

    Your current store backed up before anything changes.

  • Data inventory

    Products, variations, customers, orders, coupons and pages listed.

  • Data migration

    Supported data mapped and imported into WooCommerce.

  • URL redirects

    Old product and category URLs redirected to the new ones.

  • Payments & shipping

    Gateways and shipping rules set up and tested.

  • Error fixing

    Conflicts, fatal errors and broken templates found and fixed.

  • Email delivery

    SMTP set up so order emails reach customers.

  • Test orders

    Real test orders through each payment method before launch.

// How a store move works

From old platform to WooCommerce

Products, customers and orders are moved in a set order and checked at each step. Your old store keeps selling until the new one is confirmed.

Rescue it or rebuild it?

Most broken stores can be repaired. A rebuild makes sense when the store has been patched so often that every update breaks something.

// FAQ

Store migration questions

What owners ask before moving or repairing a store.

Still have a question? Ask me directly

How much does a store migration cost?

A store rescue starts from $199, and a migration of up to 500 products from $549 (USD), about 30% below what comparable freelancers typically charge. Large catalogues and complex data are quoted after a free call.

How do payments work?

You pay 50% to start and 50% after the switch, once the store is live and taking orders. Every payment comes with an invoice and a receipt.

Can you move my orders and customers from Shopify?

Products, variations and customers can usually be moved. Order history depends on what Shopify or your old platform can export. Customer passwords can’t be moved, so customers set a new one at their next login.

Will I lose my Google traffic?

Product and category URLs are redirected to their new addresses to protect it. Rankings can move for a while after any migration, so I don’t promise they stay identical.

Will my store go offline?

No. The new store is prepared on staging and your old store keeps selling until the switch.

My checkout stopped working after an update. Can you fix it fast?

Usually, yes. A backup is taken, the conflict found and fixed, and test orders confirm it works.

Do you use migration tools?

Sometimes. Tools like Cart2Cart or LitExtension help with large catalogues; their cost is listed separately if used.

How long does it take?

A rescue often takes 1–3 days; a migration of up to 500 products usually takes 1–2 weeks.
