// Who it’s for

Problems I fix every week

If something on your WordPress site stopped working, or never worked properly, it’s probably one of these.

  • Critical errors

    “There has been a critical error”, white screens or the admin won’t load.

  • Plugin conflicts

    Something broke after an update, or two plugins don’t work together.

  • Forms and emails

    Contact forms don’t send, or order and password emails never arrive.

  • Small custom features

    A field, a redirect, a shortcode or a tweak your theme can’t do.

// How a fix works

From error to explained fix

Most bugs come back when only the symptom is treated. Each fix follows the same steps, so the real cause is found and you understand what changed.

// What’s included

How every fix is handled

Every fix includes these, so you know what happened and it doesn’t quietly come back.

  • Backup first

    A backup or staging copy before anything is changed.

  • Root cause found

    Error logs and conflict tests to find what actually broke.

  • Clean fix

    Code in a child theme or small plugin, so updates don’t wipe it out.

  • Tested after

    The fix and nearby features checked on desktop and phone.

  • Plain-English notes

    What broke, what changed and how to avoid it next time.

  • Free re-fix

    If the same issue returns within 30 days, it’s fixed again at no cost.

Fixed price or hourly billing?

Hourly billing is common for bug fixes, but it leaves you guessing. A fixed price per fix keeps the cost clear.

// FAQ

Bug fixing questions

What people ask when something on their WordPress site breaks.

Still have a question? Ask me directly

How much does a WordPress fix cost?

A quick fix for one clear issue starts from $39, and a custom code task from $149 (USD), about 30% below what comparable freelancers typically charge. Hacked sites and several issues at once are quoted after a free call.

How do payments work?

You pay 50% to start and 50% once you have checked the fix and confirmed it works. Every payment comes with an invoice and a receipt.

What does “There has been a critical error” mean?

It means PHP stopped because of an error, often after a plugin, theme or PHP update. The error log shows which file caused it, and the fix is usually to repair or replace that code, not to roll back WordPress.

What if the problem is bigger than expected?

I stop and tell you what I found, with a new price, before doing anything extra. You decide whether to continue.

Will the fix be lost when I update plugins?

No. Custom code goes into a child theme or a small custom plugin, not into files that updates overwrite.

Can you fix a hacked WordPress site?

Yes. Hacked sites are quoted separately because they need cleaning, hardening and checks for hidden backdoors.

How fast can you start?

Usually within a working day. Many fixes are finished within 1–2 working days.

Do you need my password?

A temporary administrator account is best. You can delete it when the work is done.
