Old posts, back to work

Content Refresh Service

Many blogs lose traffic slowly as posts go out of date. I find the posts that are slipping in Search Console, update facts and answers, merge duplicates and re-optimise them, so they earn their place again.

// In short

Do you need a content refresh?

Choose a Content Refresh when your blog has older posts that used to bring traffic and are now slipping, or several posts competing for the same topic. It is often faster than writing new articles. If you have few posts, Content & Blog Writing fits better; if pages aren’t indexed, Technical SEO comes first. MD Shamim Mahmud finds declining posts in Search Console, updates and merges them, re-optimises them for Google and AI search and requests indexing.

// FAQ

Content refresh questions

What site owners ask about updating old content.

Still have a question? Ask me directly

How much does a content refresh cost?

Refreshing 5 posts starts from $199, and 15 posts from $549 (USD), about 30% below what comparable freelancers typically charge. Large blogs are quoted after a free call.

How do payments work?

You pay 50% to start and 50% when the posts are updated and submitted. Every payment comes with an invoice and a receipt.

Why do posts lose traffic?

Competitors publish fresher answers, facts go out of date and search intent changes. A refresh brings the post back in line.

Will you change the URL?

Usually not. URLs are kept so the post keeps its history and links. Merged posts are redirected.

How soon will traffic recover?

Often within a few weeks of re-indexing, but it depends on competition and the post. No result is guaranteed.

Should I delete old posts?

Only if they have no traffic, no links and no value. The list shows which posts to keep, merge or remove.

Does it help with AI answers?

Yes. Updated, answer-first posts are more likely to be used by AI tools, though no one can guarantee a mention.

How long does it take?

Usually 1–2 weeks for 5 posts.
